There was kind of a trend for a little while of big musicians playing concerts in prisons. I don't recall any playing at the Utah State Prison while my Dad was working there, but how would it be to actually see somebody like B.B. play, and then go back to your cell? Appropriate, that's how it would be.

He was only 16 when this came out. Amazing guitar work, and amazing voice. Unfortunately, since then, he's become a "Christian Rock" act. Ugh.

I've always enjoyed Tracy Chapman. I figured out a while ago that she sings in a very traditional blues manner, but (and this is important) she sings it like a man. It really works well for her. And, of course, BB is, well, BB.
